RESTRICTIONS DUE TO REGULATORY MEASURES RELATED TO CORONAVIRUS EPIDEMY (COVID-19) BY ITALIAN AUTHORITIES (MOBILITY RESTRICTIONS) AND INTERNATIONAL AUTHORITIES (ENTRY IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES)



Below some important information relating to boarding restrictions on Alitalia flights and entry in different countries due to measures related to the Coronavirus epidemy (COVID-19)
 
PASSENGERS OWING ALITALIA TICKET
 
PASSENGERS WITH MOBILITY RESTRICTIONS, RESIDING IN THE AREAS CONSIDERED AT RISK IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THE EPIDEMIOLOGICAL EMERGENCY.

Passengers affected to mobility restrictions issued by Italian Authorities, living in the areas considered at risk for the management of the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency (as defined by the Prime Minister's Decree of  February 23rd 2020, in implementation of the Law Decree No. 6 of  February 23rd 2020, containing urgent measures regarding the containment and management of the epidemiological emergency from COVID-19), owing Alitalia tickets issued within  February 22nd 2020, with travel dates between  February 23rd and March 8th 2020 , who are forced to renounce to travel, may request to Alitalia Customer Centre a voucher (TCV) no later than  March 15th 2020 for an amount equal to the value of the ticket purchased or its residual value, valid for the purchase of other tickets to any Alitalia operated routes, for travel until  June 30th 2020.
In case of renounce to MilleMiglia award tickets with destination Mauritius, passengers will be entitled to obtain credit back of MilleMiglia miles

MAURITIUS
As of February 28th 2020, the Authorities of Mauritius have forbidden Italian citizens and passengers who have travelled in Italy in the 14 days prior to the departure date of the flight to Mauritius (as per NOTAM A0027/20 e A0028/20 issued by the Civil Aviation of Mauritius) entry to Mauritius.

Involved passengers who are forced to renounce to travel to Mauritius, owing Alitalia tickets purchased by February 28th 2020, may request to Alitalia Customer Centre a voucher (TCV) no later than March 15th 2020, for an amount equal to the value of the ticket purchased or its residual value, valid for the purchase of other Alitalia tickets to any Alitalia operated destination, which can be used to travel within June 30th 2020.
In case of renounce to MilleMiglia award tickets with destination Mauritius, passengers will be entitled to obtain credit back of MilleMiglia miles

SEYCHELLES
As of February 25th 2020, Seychelles authorities have forbidden passengers who have stayed or traveled in Italy 14 days prior to the arrival date in Seychelles.

Involved passengers who are forced to renounce to travel to Seychelles, owing Alitalia tickets purchased by February 25th 2020, may request to Alitalia Customer Centre a voucher (TCV) no later than March 15th 2020, for an amount equal to the value of the ticket purchased or its residual value, valid for the purchase of other Alitalia tickets to any Alitalia operated destination, which can be used to travel within June 30th 2020.
In case of renounce to MilleMiglia award tickets with destination Seychelles, passengers will be entitled to obtain credit back of MilleMiglia miles

KUWAIT
As of February 26th 2020, the Kuwait authorities have banned air traffic to and from Italy.

Involved passengers who are forced to renounce to travel to Kuwait, owing Alitalia tickets purchased by February 26th 2020, may request to Alitalia Customer Centre a voucher (TCV) no later than March 15th 2020,
For an amount equal to the value of the ticket purchased or its residual value, valid for the purchase of other Alitalia tickets to any Alitalia operated destination, which can be used to travel within June 30th 2020.
In case of renounce to MilleMiglia award tickets with destination Kuwait, passengers will be entitled to obtain credit back of MilleMiglia miles

JORDAN
As of February 27th 2020, Jordanian authorities have banned travelers from Italy or who have traveled to Italy in the 14 days prior to their arrival in Jordan from entering the Country.

Involved passengers who are forced to renounce to travel to Jordan, owing Alitalia tickets purchased by February 27th 2020, may request to Alitalia Customer Centre a voucher (TCV) no later than March 15th 2020, for an amount equal to the value of the ticket purchased or its residual value, valid for the purchase of other Alitalia tickets to any Alitalia operated destination, which can be used to travel within June 30th 2020.
In case of renounce to MilleMiglia award tickets with destination Jordan, passengers will be entitled to obtain credit back of MilleMiglia miles

ISRAEL
As of February 27th 2020, Authorities of Israel have banned access to all travelers - with the exception of Israeli citizens - present in Italy in the 14 days prior to entry or the request for entry into the country. The restriction does not apply to passengers in transit on Italian airports and bound for Israel with a connecting flight (as per NOTAMN A0523 / 20).

Involved passengers who are forced to renounce to travel to Israel, owing Alitalia tickets purchased by February 27th 2020, may request to Alitalia Customer Centre a voucher (TCV) no later than March 15th 2020, for an amount equal to the value of the ticket purchased or its residual value, valid for the purchase of other Alitalia tickets to any Alitalia operated destination, which can be used to travel within June 30th 2020.
In case of renounce to MilleMiglia award tickets with destination Israel, passengers will be entitled to obtain credit back of MilleMiglia miles

LEBANON
As of February 28th 2020,  Lebanese Authorities have banned access to travellers from Italy,  with the exception of Lebanese citizens and Lebanon residents.

Involved passengers who are forced to renounce to travel to Lebanon, owing Alitalia tickets purchased by February 28th 2020, may request to Alitalia Customer Centre a voucher (TCV) no later than March 15th 2020, for an amount equal to the value of the ticket purchased or its residual value, valid for the purchase of other Alitalia tickets to any Alitalia operated destination, which can be used to travel within June 30th 2020.
In case of renounce to MilleMiglia award tickets with destination Lebanon, passengers will be entitled to obtain credit back of MilleMiglia miles

INDIA (UPDATE)
As of March 3rd 2020 and effective immediately, the Indian authorities have suspended all visas issued on or before March 3rd, for Italian citizens who have not yet entered the Indian territory. Additionally, all foreign citizens who have stayed in Italy as of February 1st are banned from entering the country. The restriction does not apply to passengers in transit in Italian airports and continuing to India on a connecting flight.
Involved passengers who are forced to renounce to travel to India , owing Alitalia tickets purchased by March 1ST 2020, may request to Alitalia Customer Centre a voucher (TCV) no later than March 15th 2020, for an amount equal to the value of the ticket purchased or its residual value, valid for the purchase of other Alitalia tickets to any Alitalia operated destination, which can be used to travel within June 30th 2020.
In case of renounce to MilleMiglia award tickets with destination India, passengers will be entitled to obtain credit back of MilleMiglia miles.
